The Color Marketing Group held their Spring Conference in Seattle this year. As the premiere international organization for color professionals, people from all over the world met to forecast color direction into 2011-2012.

The biggest news NOW is that a soothing, cool colour called Turquoise is the 2010 Color of the Year, chosen by the Pantone Color Institute. Combining the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green, Turquoise evokes thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a languorous, effective escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of wellbeing.
